Building a startup tests more than your business model; it tests your resilience. Behind every pitch deck and pivot is a founder wrestling with fear, pressure, self-doubt, and burnout. That’s where Sarah Grace comes in.
With deep experience coaching early-stage and VC-backed founders, Sarah helps leaders navigate the emotional, mental, and strategic complexities of entrepreneurship. Her work focuses on what most accelerators don’t: the human side of building.
Through her signature QUEST framework, founders identify the source of feeling stuck, uncover the drivers behind their behavior, learn to manage and prevent stress responses, and map out a realistic path to progress. Because when you’re leading something meaningful, your mindset matters just as much as your metrics.
To build emotionally strong, strategically sharp founders who don’t just survive the startup grind, but lead with purpose and presence.
A world where founder growth is measured not just by revenue, but by the strength of the human behind the company. I believe self-aware founders build better businesses.
Resilience over Reactivity.
Clarity over Chaos.
Courage over Comfort.
I’m Sarah Grace, and I coach the human side of entrepreneurship. Using my QUEST model, I ask powerful questions that spark deep reflection, helping you rewire limiting beliefs, build fulfilling habits, and develop clear, attainable strategies that work for you.
No, you don’t need one.
Much like you don’t need a mentor to build your career.
Each one of us has the potential to make meaningful decisions to improve our well-being.
Sometimes, you may decide to seek out someone who’s trained to help you build structure, stay accountable, and stretch your thinking.
A coach partners with you in a thought-provoking, confidential space where you’re free to explore your thoughts, emotions, and challenges openly without the fear of judgment.
There are no band-aid solutions or prescribed answers. Instead, they hold space for your self-discovery and decision-making.
Through active listening, powerful questioning, evoking awareness, and facilitating growth, they help you become clear, take action, and stay aligned with both your immediate goals and your broader vision.
The reality is, anyone can wake up one day and decide to call themselves a coach.
No specific training or credentials are required.
Methods and ethics can vary widely.
The title “coach” is unregulated in most countries.
An ICF-accredited coach has been trained and certified through a program approved by the International Coaching Federation (ICF) – the leading gold standard for professional coaching. This means:
Completed rigorous, evidence-based training
Undergone mentor coaching and live evaluations
Adhere to the ICF Core Competencies and Code of Ethics
Commits to ongoing continuing education and ethical standards
Directing you to the answers.
A coach doesn’t hand you a roadmap – they help you create your own. They walk beside you, ask the right questions, and empower you to translate a clear path forward.
They won’t tell you what you should or should not do. Rather, they simply allow you to find your own answers and remain in control of your journey.
Can SGC solve our problems?
Coaching isn’t about fixing – it’s about partnering.
Coach and client work side by side. Together, they clarify goals, uncover strengths, explore possibilities, and co-create strategies.
It’s not about giving advice. It’s about collaborating on your steps forward.
You’re resistant to change.
Coaching only creates results if you show up, put in effort, and stay motivated to follow the roadmap between sessions.
Mindset shifts are likely to happen during sessions, but remember:
Sessions spark the insight.
Your actions between them create the change.
I will send you:
(a) A payment link
(b) A coaching agreement - for you to e-sign.
A therapist helps you understand the “why” behind your emotional patterns and work through past pain.
A trainer shows you how to do something new by teaching specific skills.
A consultant tells you what to do by offering expert advice.
A coach walks with you by asking powerful questions, helps clarify what you want, and supports you in facilitating future growth.
Everything we discuss, whether in sessions, messages, or emails, will remain strictly confidential. I will never share your personal challenges with anyone else without your explicit permission.
This includes situations where I’m hired by an investor to coach their portfolio founders. Even in those cases, what a founder shares with me stays private unless they provide written consent.
Why? Because meaningful coaching requires trust. Clients need to know they can speak openly about both personal and professional challenges without judgment or exposure. I serve as a sounding board, not a reporting channel. This protects the founder's space to grow and ensures that internal struggles don’t interfere with external execution.
All of this is outlined clearly in the coaching agreement we’ll both sign before we begin working together.
If something is not working for you during our coaching journey, I’m always open to adjusting so it feels right for you.
That said, I don’t offer refunds for no-show or last-minute cancellations unless there’s a genuine reason, like a health issue or emergency.
You can cancel and reschedule a session up to 24 hours before the beginning of the session.
If you are more than 15 minutes late without letting me know, I’ll assume the session is canceled and there will be no refund possible.
While this might feel like a firm line, it helps protect time and energy for both of us. I’m grateful for your understanding and your commitment to our work together.
As a university student in Montréal, I am likely studying for the next exam or writing my next paper. As someone with a strong entrepreneurial mindset, I tend to see everyday problems as opportunities and constantly find myself brainstorming creative solutions.
Outside of academia, I enjoy running a small online secondhand luxury handbag business, selling through live streams. I swim, write, and read books about how to have better, more productive conversations.
